About Tribal Chicken

History of Tribal Chicken
Tribal Chicken started its humble existence as a small web proxy that was used by a select few to get around the Internet filtering of a certain school. In the beginning it was slow, unreliable, and was run out of a piece of crap server in Thomas White's bedroom.

From there it was decided that Tribal Chicken was simply too awesome to continue like this, so the site was redesigned, and a new authentication and registration system was written, so as to allow people to request access, and then they would need to be accepted. At this stage it was still running out of Thomas' bedroom.

After some time, the resource requirements became too great to keep the site running out of Thomas' bedroom. The site would become almost unusable during the middle of the school day, so it was moved to a Virtual Private Server in Sydney. During the move the site was once again redesigned (The logo was also redesigned to the one it is today and now incorporates one of the official slogans from Tribal Chicken's Slogan Writer, Jacob Bennett.), and the proxy code almost completely rewritten, to speed up the proxy and make it more flexible.

Tribal Chicken in its prime. (Previously: "Tribal Chicken Today")
As it stands today, Tribal Chicken does not require registration or login to use, and serves a lot more than the one school it was originally designed for. It is now even used internationally (Tribal Chicken is based in Australia, for those who don't know).
These days Tribal Chicken is much more than the small proxy it started from, and it is even more than just a web site. However Tribal Chicken's main web site attractions are still the proxy and the new improved YouTube downloader, which is a lot more flexible than the original.

The Death of Tribal Chicken
During the month of June in the year 2008, an epic battle took place between Tribal Chicken and another party. Said battle lasted many days and nights (About a week) until it led to the untimely demise of Tribal Chicken.
